1:48 MiG-17F fighter
$25.00
Assembled model of the Soviet MiG-17F (Fresco-C) fighter in the Hobby Boss 80334 set.
In order to increase the speed characteristics of the MiG-17, a decision was made to install an afterburner on the VK-1 engine. The aircraft received the designation MiG-17F (forced). The fighter was used in the Arab-Israeli conflicts, where, starting in the 60s, it operated against ground rather than air targets. The MiG-17F was most intensively used in Vietnam. Possessing better maneuverability, the aircraft won victories over more modern machines – F-4 ‘Phantom’ and F-105 ‘Thunderchief’.
