Lockheed C-141B Starlifter is a jet long-range military transport aircraft. It was a modernized C-141A aircraft due to the installation of additional sections of the fuselage. Thanks to this, it was possible to increase the volume of the cargo compartment, and now the aircraft could accommodate 13 standard transport containers, 168 equipped paratroopers or 103 wounded on stretchers. The C-141B Starlifter was produced in 1977-1982. During this time, 270 aircraft were converted.
